Disaster Response

EFICOR helps rebuild lives of disaster affected communities in line with international humanitarian standards , i.e., Red Cross Code of Conduct, Sphere Standards and CH Standards. EFICOR advocates on Right to Aid in Relief, at local, regional, national and international levels through various networks UNFPA has undertaken micro assessment in the year 2015. UNFPA has funded EFICOR for Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) Project from 2013 – 2016 and provided support for Flood Relief in Jammu & Kashmir in 2014. UNICEF supports EFICOR WASH project in Kurnool district in Andhra from 2016 and continues its support in 2017.EFICOR responded to Bihar Floods in 2017 to alleviate the sufferings of 14520 families with food & Non-food items as per Sphere Standards.

EFICOR is a task force member of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Sphere India, which is a network body of humanitarian agencies in India.


EFICOR alleviates the suffering of the people affected by disasters by providing food, household articles and psychosocial care. Beneficiaries are selected according to the need across sections of the community and care is taken that vulnerable communities are included such as disabled, aged etc.

EFICOR coordinates and networks with government and other disaster management organisations for effective relief operations.


EFICOR helps to rebuild lives in times of disaster by restoring land for cultivation, livelihood and reconstruction of houses etc.

Peace and Reconciliation

EFICOR strengthens the capacities of the people affected by conflicts, work towards restoring peace and resolving conflicts and help communities to identify ways to promote social harmony and mend relationships.
