EFICOR Kerala Flood Relief Update 7

We want to thank the Lord for His grace and faithfulness in enabling us to raise the needed funds for the Phase I. We have received support from World Renew/Canadian Food Grains Bank/Global Affairs Canada for 2800 families and from CEDAR Fund/Hong Kong Government to support about 9500 families. We have moved into the final stretch of Phase I and hope to complete the Phase I by mid November 2018. We have unconditional cash transfer of Rs. 4000/- to each of 456 families out of 695 identified families. While we concentrate on Phase I, EFICOR is also in the
process of finalizing the plan for Phase II intervention, focusing mainly on livelihood restoration. We will be sharing our Need Assessment details for Phase II by this week. We request you to extend your kind support in restoring the livelihood of families affected by the flood in Kerala.
