For ten years Rev. Kennedy Dhanabalan has served as the Executive Director of EFICOR and today - as he finishes in this role - we are marking the valuable contribution he has made to EFICOR, not only as Executive Director, but during his full 31 years of service. His service in EFICOR spans a whole range of roles and responsibilities starting from the grassroots of working with the Malto tribal community in Jharkhand, relief and rehabilitation work in disaster situations, teaching, training and capacity building of community workers, and providing strategic direction and leadership at the organisational level. He began his journey with EFICOR in 1988 as a Trainee, moving on to take up the role of Director, Development Education and Capacity Building, until he took over as the Executive Director in 2010. Rev. Kennedy Dhanabalan also serves on several Boards providing valuable inputs in the functioning of many organizations across the country. At present he serves as the Chairperson of Micah Global. As Rev. Kennedy Dhanabalan embarks on his next venture, we wish him, along with his wife Premlatha, and their three children Arpit Samuel, Ashwin Immanuel and Aparna Abigail, all the very best for the future.
