EFICOR has distributed dry ration to 1185 stranded daily-wage workers and migrant families in North East Delhi, West Delhi and North West Delhi. Given the situation, as a precautionary measure to reduce physical contact and ensure social distancing, different modalities of relief have been adapted based on the context. Vouchers worth Rs.1575 per family were given in selected areas covering 417 families through tie-up with nearby shops and vendors. In places with limited access to market, relief kits were distributed to 768 families. Each family was supported with rice – 10 kgs, wheat flour – 10 kgs, oil – 2 litres, dal (lentils) – 2 kgs, Supplementary food (Dalia) – 1 kg & Salt – 1 kg and personal care kits such as soap – 4 pcs, masks – 5 pcs. Delhi government has issued e-curfew passes to the team involved in relief operations.
