In its 40 years of history EFICOR has been involved in relief, rehabilitation, development, water, community organisation, adult literacy, aids awareness, care, training and micro-enterprises. It has focussed primarily on the most needy states of India and worked mainly with Evangelical churches and organisations.

EFICOR understands the process of transformation as wholistic - in that we are committed to addressing the socio-cultural, economic, political and religious aspects of the life of the community. It also deals with both the material and spiritual aspects of humans and dealing with both people and all of God's creation.

In principle therefore EFICOR is committed to integrated programmes that eventually contribute to the process of tranformation. The images of change that EFICOR envisages are best summarised in the Biblical understanding of Kingdom of God.
