Social Worker (formerly Community Development Organiser’s) Training (5 months)
EFICOR has been offering this course for over 35 years, having built capacities of individuals, churches, mission agencies, faith based groups, organisations and individuals to be involved in social concern and to respond to the needs of the poor and marginalised.
This is a unique and comprehensive programme with hands on practical experience in the field in which the candidates are trained in all areas required for community development at the grass-root. This course is offered both in English and Hindi. It is a five months course involving 6-10 weeks divided into III phases. Two phases are class room and One phase is in field. In a year EFICOR trains 3 batches (1 in Delhi and 2 in regional areas). The candidates are trained to respond to social issues and be involved in community development. The course has some core topics which form the basis of our training. The team also update the module and incorporate issues pertaining to demographic and geographical conditions of regional areas and also as per the new challenges faced by the communities.
