Social Worker (formerly Community Development Organiser’s) Training (6 Weeks)
EFICOR has been offering this course for over 35 years, having built capacities of individuals, churches, mission agencies, faith based groups, organizations and individuals to be involved in social concern and to respond to the needs of the poor and marginalized.
This is a unique and comprehensive programme with hands on practical experience in the field in which the candidates are trained in all areas required for community development at the grass-root. This course is offered both in English and Hindi. It is a 6 week course involving III phases of two weeks each. Two phases are class room and one phase is in the field. In a year, EFICOR trains upto 3 batches (1 in Delhi and upto 2 in regional areas). The candidates are trained to respond to social issues and be involved in community development. The modules of the course are regularly checked and updated to ensure its information stays current while incorporating issues pertaining to demographic and geographical conditions of regional areas, and that it also addresses the new challenges faced by the communities of India.
