EFICOR Day was celebrated on 30^th April, 2003 for the first time marking the day of registration of EFICOR, a time to dedicate and thank God for all the accomplishments through EFICOR. It was also an opportunity to share EFICOR’s work  with rest of the constituencies in Delhi . The UN had designated 2003 as the   “International Year of Fresh Water”. India too recognising the importance of this resource has declared 2003 as “Year of Freshwater”. Therefore, EFICOR had chosen to highlight the fact that Water is life on the anniversary day.  

The event was organised in a large scale at the headquarters, and the field were also encouraged to observe this day in prayer and thanksgiving with the partners and communities they are working with.
