About 20 staff from a missionary organization called GEMS(Gospel Echoing Missionary Society) also played a major role in the relief activities of EFICOR.

Phase II

The phase II intervention plan will provide emergency relief to 10,000 families in the 3 districts of Supaul, Sitamarhi and Samastipur of Bihar. 3 months Food security programme will target 2000 families in Madhubani district. Under the emergency relief the proposed relief kit would give food security for 15 days to each family.  During which time, the beneficiaries can restore their lives with the external help that comes mostly from the government.

We also planning to take up Food security program under rehabilitation phase which would be for a longer duration of about three to six months.  This program will be designed as per the need of the community. During this time programs like Food For Work or Cash For work, Shelter construction etc. would be taken into consideration.
