EFICOR conducted an “Awareness and Motivation” program on January 9th and 10th, 2008 in Banswara district of Rajasthan, the first of its kind in EFICOR’s history with Banswara. It was very well attended by 40 pastors from Philadelphia church and 22 other believers. The program was based on the theme “Christian’s Responsibility to the poor”. By the end of the program, the participants had decided to help the poor and marginalised of their area according to their ability.

Pastor George, the in-charge for Banswara Philadelphia church remarked “ this is such an eye-opener and people are really encouraged to help the poor and others”

Some of the topics covered under this program were Characteristics of God, mission of man, who the poor are, God’s concern for the poor and marginalised, prayer and poor, gospel and poor, kingdom of God etc.
