EFICOR is committed to wholistic
transformation in its programmes, policies and processes. We believe
that structural and individual changes will complement and supplement
each other to produce genuine transformation. EFICOR primarily seeks to
facilitate partner organisations for involvement but will directly
implement programmes in situations of need.
A Sectoral approach seeks to intervene in situations of poverty,
disaster, conflicts and marginalisation converging this focus with
respective geographical area/target group. Programmes are prioritised
and implemented as per the need of the community. The sectors provide
the broad parameters for involvement. It is envisaged that an integrated
sectoral intervention will help alleviate poverty and strengthen the
achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

forest by reducing the risks of flooding and droughts in vulnerable
areas by watershed protection and restoration, improved land-use

consumption and production patterns as the key for achieving sustainable
development among the communities.
